Colfax Main Street would like to announce our 2018 Colfax Main Street Leadership Award winners Nikki Stravers and Tammi Schwickerath! Sister Nikki and Tammi are small business owners in downtown Colfax (Absolutely YOUnique Boutique). They are enthusiastic volunteers and love their adopted home of Colfax (they are Prairie City, Iowa natives). In 2018, they have been instrumental in brainstorming and implementing activities for Mineral Springs Days and Fall4Colfax events while serving on our Promotions committee. They have been a driving force in recruiting new volunteers and responsible for increased vendor participation at our events. We love their enthusiasm and energy! They were honored by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and Main Street Iowa at the Main Street Iowa Awards which took place on March 8, 2019. Thanks Nikki and Tammi for your hard work in making Colfax a better place to live!
